Once Upon A Time, several Christmas Eve's ago... My family and I had just gotten home from my great grandmother's house. It was a great evening of laughs, fun, and joy; just like any Christmas Eve should be. I think at the time, I was around 5 years of age. I had previously watched a Christmas movie with my family, and I was curious to see if one of the parts in it was really true and could happen.
In the movie, this little boy was dared to stick his tongue to a pole. To his horror, it became stuck, and the firemen had to come 'rip' it off. So, while my family was unloading the car, I ran up to our metal railing and stuck my tongue to it!!! I quickly and sadly realized that it was true. I panicked as I saw my mom coming up the sidewalk, so before she realized what I had done, I ripped myself apart from the pole. -_- Holding back the tears, I ran into our bathroom, to check out the damage. Apart from a "little" blood and the very tip of my tongue missing, I was just fine. So, after all that... The moral of my story is to advise you to NEVER put your tongue on a pole during the winter or any time for that matter. (Because, that would be just weird!) ;o) . I hoped you enjoyed it! Till next time...
